Deconstruction of a Contents Page

Here is a contents page from Glamour magazine. This for me is too simple. The image is at the right had side of the page, with the masthead and date placed above. The left hand side contains information about what will be inside the magazine. Three main colours have been selected; orange, red and a lighter orange. These colours don't really reflect on the date at all. The magazine was released in February and the colours used would mainly been seen in summer time. However the model seems to match the colour scheme very well as she is wearing a red top with orangey accessories.

Like I said previously I think that this is too plain and simple for a contents page and won't be incorporating any of it in my magazine.

  1. Take care with grammar, spelling and punctuation - I know your blog is more "informal" than other types of academic work but you still must ensure that your spelling is accurate and that you are utilising the correct words. Proof reading your posts yourself would be good for you I think.
